ENTRUST Annual Accounts 2008/2009
ENTRUST has now published its Annual Accounts for year ending 31 March 2009.
The trading results for the year and the Company's financial position at the end of the year can be viewed below.
During the year, ENTRUST continued in its work to improve the regulation and operation of the LCF. In line with best regulatory practice these initiatives were aimed at reducing the administrative burden on EBs by simplifying the Regulations. Additionally, ENTRUST has strengthened its links with stakeholders and has held a number of consultation exercises during the year.
In relation to its financial performance, there was a surplus on ordinary activities, after taxation and before exceptional items of £9,227 (2008 deficit of £126,564). It should be noted that the relocation costs of moving ENTRUST to Leamington Spa resulted in exceptional expenditure of £212,949 (2008 NIL), which was funded from ENTRUST’s reserves. This resulted in an overall deficit for the year after taxation of £203,722 (2008 deficit of £126,564) arising from turnover of £1,344,849 (2008 £1,225,944).
