Review Panel - Questions and Answers
Q1: What is the purpose of the ENTRUST Review Panel?
A1: The Review Panel has been established to provide an independent review of every single enrolment and project application that has been refused by the Senior Registrar.
Q2: How often does this panel meet?
A2: The Review Panel will meet monthly.
Q3: How do I ensure my refused enrolment/project will be reviewed by the panel?
A3: All enrolments and projects that are refused will be reviewed by the Panel as a matter of course. The details of when this Panel is due to sit will be detailed on your initial refusal letter.
Q4: What should I do once my enrolment/project has been initially refused?
A4: If you have an enrolment or project that has been refused, you are welcome to make representations to the Review Panel either in the form of correspondence sent to ENTRUST before the meeting or in person on the day. Details of how this can be done should be discussed with ENTRUST in advance.
Q5: How will I know the decision of the Review Panel?
A5: You will be advised of the Review Panel’s findings within 5 working days of the meeting.
Q6: What if I am not happy with the decision of the Review Panel?
A6: As the enrolment/project has by this stage been reviewed twice, initially by the Senior Registrar and then the Review Panel, ENTRUST would consider this matter closed. ENTRUST would obviously be happy to run through amendments to the initial application that would bring the proposal into line with the Landfill Tax Regulations.
