ENTRUST Appoints New Board Member
Updated: 16/01/2012ENTRUST, the Regulator of the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF), is pleased to announce that Dr Ann Limb OBE DL has been appointed as a new Non-Executive Director of its Board from 01 January 2012. The appointment has been made due to the retirement later on in the year of one of the existing Directors.
Changes to the ENTRUST Guidance Manual
Updated: 10/01/2012We have made a number of minor amendments throughout the guidance manual to reflect the recent changes to the condition that ENTRUST has imposed on all Environmental Bodies (EBs).
ENTRUST Advanced Seminar – Change of Date
Updated: 23/12/2011We will be holding an Advanced Seminar with complimentary training from ADEB in London in March 2012. This event was previously scheduled for Wednesday 21 March 2012 but has now been pushed back a day to Thursday 22 March 2012.

Formal notification of amendments to the conditions imposed by ENTRUST on Environmental Bodies
Updated: 20/12/2011All EBs will receive a notification of the change to the conditions imposed on Environmental Bodies (EBs) by ENTRUST under paragraph 34(1) of the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996 (Regulations). In exercising our power under this paragraph, we have reviewed the following conditions that are currently imposed on all EBs:

Amendments to project registration forms
Updated: 29/11/2011In the June 2011 e-bulletin, we informed Environmental Bodies (EBs) of a number of proposed changes to the project registration forms as a result of our ongoing value for money review within the Landfill Communities Fund. The changes will provide better quality information on the achievements of the fund in line with current Government priorities.
Publication of the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996
Updated: 28/11/2011The Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) is governed by the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996 (Regulations). Although we have reproduced sections of the Regulations in our guidance manual for Environmental Bodies (EBs), a number of EBs have suggested that it would be beneficial for us to publish the Regulations on our website for ease of access.
