All EBs: Statutory Annual Return (Form 4)

Following the 2008 Budget announcement, all registered Environmental Bodies (EBs) must complete and submit a statutory annual return to ENTRUST within 28 days of the end of the reporting period, which has been set at 31 March.
Therefore, in accordance with the Landfill Tax Regulations, you are required to submit to ENTRUST a return from your organisation's last period end date to 31 March 2008.
In simplifying the current reporting requirements, ENTRUST has undertaken a review of the format of the reporting forms. The most significant change resulting from this process is that it is no longer necessary for EB to submit details of ‘OLD’ and ‘NEW’ Fund monies. All EB’s will now be required to submit an annual return using the Form 4. However, those EB that have ongoing Object C/CC (Waste Minimisation) Projects are also required to submit a Form 4A: C/CC Liabilities form.
For your necessary action, the revised Form 4 with attached guidance notes can be accessed HERE. If you require a Form 4A: C/CC Liabilities to report on your waste minimisation activities, this can also be accessed on the ENTRUST website HERE.
Informing ENTRUST of changes in the Organisation’s Management Committee:
It is also necessary to advise ENTRUST of any changes in your organisation’s management committee/structure during the last year. If there have been any changes to the makeup of your management committee, please complete an ENTRUST Management Committee Update form available. This form is available on the ENTRUST website HERE.
You are able to review the current management committee members recorded by ENTRUST through your ENTRUST online account.
De-registering as an EB:
If you wish to ‘de-register’ as an enrolled EB, please inform ENTRUST in writing requesting to do so.
