Message from the Chief Executive

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my departure as Chief Executive of ENTRUST.
When I took up the role in 2003, I anticipated being in post for two years. Those two years have flown past and during this time ENTRUST has introduced much change both in the regulation and operation of the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme. I am delighted with the outcomes we have achieved, both in terms of the new systems and processes introduced to simplify the Scheme and reduce administration and the improved relationships that now exist throughout the Scheme. I am particularly pleased with the positive working relationships that now exist between ENTRUST, HM Revenue & Customs, ADEB and other Scheme stakeholders. Having delivered these changes it is now time for a period of consolidation. This represents an ideal time for me to hand things over to a new Chief Executive and for me to move onto new challenges.
After my departure, Jim Graham has been appointed by the ENTRUST Board as Acting Chief Executive. Jim has been with ENTRUST for almost 8 years and is an extremely safe pair of hands to manage this interim period.
