ENTRUST basic training, Hackney Empire, London

6 Dec 2013

Every year ENTRUST runs a number of basic and advanced training sessions across the country to help people new to the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) learn more about the Scheme, how it is run and what their obligations are under the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996 (Regulations).

We are pleased to confirm that our basic training session on 12 December will be held at the historic Hackney Empire venue in London.

Empire 2, the Empire’s purpose built rehearsal, meeting and community space has recently benefitted from monies from the LCF to install energy efficient lighting and sound equipment to help reduce the carbon footprint of the building for the very first time. The equipment has also allowed the Hackney Empire team to reduce their annual running costs and invest more in services for young people and the community.

Jane Bailey, ENTRUST Regulations Manager said: “We are pleased to be hosting our December training at the iconic Hackney Empire. The work that has been completed is a great example of the benefits the LCF provides to local communities and I look forward to seeing the results for myself."
