ENTRUST is responsible for the regulation of the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF).
In carrying out this role, we provide the full range of regulatory activities in accordance with the Better Regulation requirements, the Regulators Compliance Code and Hampton.
Our Operations Team is focussed on delivering high quality and focused services in the following areas:
- Registering Environmental Bodies (EBs) and approving projects in accordance with the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996 (Regulations);
- Providing policy advice and guidance in accordance with Cabinet Office guidelines;
- Carrying out risk based compliance monitoring to ensure monies are spent in accordance with the Regulations; and
- Taking appropriate and proportioned enforcement action when EBs fail to comply with the Regulations.
We now wish to recruit an individual to join our organisation and lead our Operations Team. We are not worried about your previous background, but we are looking for an individual with a breadth of knowledge and experience who will further develop and enhance our current business model. As well as heading up the Operations Team, the successful individual will also be part of the Senior Management Team.
