As part of our consultation on the interpretation of ‘public’ we invite Environmental Bodies (EBs) to attend our sounding board to discuss the draft consultation document which will be sent to confirmed attendees by 30 January.
The consultation seeks to consider:
The definition of public;
- Whether admission costs can be so high that they exclude the general public from having access to them;
- How often facilities should be open to be ‘public’; and
- Proportional registration, where the use of the amenity is restricted for the general public at some times when it is open.
