ENTRUST runs a number of training events each year, including basic training and open days. These events help people learn more about the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF), how it is run and what their obligations are under the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996 (Regulations).
Our training events will give all of the latest information to support EBs, whether they are new to the LCF or looking for a refresher. Our next available training date is Thursday 17 November. The training will be held at our offices in Leamington Spa and places are available to book now. You can also find details of our other training dates.
Our Environmental Body (EB) training days have been designed in line with feedback from EBs on last year's training programme, our training strategy and our Corporate Plan. Our basic training sessions cover the following areas:
- what the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) is and how it works;
- who ENTRUST are and what we do;
- what projects can be approved and how this happens;
- what you must do now that you are an EB; and
- open forum and questions.
