Update on Value for Money questions

3 Apr 2014

As we set out in the background to the Value for Money (VFM) consultation issued on 11 March 2014, we are moving the VFM questions which we ask about all Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) funded projects.

With effect from 1 April 2014 the VFM questions will no longer be asked at project registration stage and instead will be asked at project completion stage. We are amending ENTRUST online (EOL) and our paper forms to reflect these changes.

From 1 April 2014 until these changes have been made to our forms, project applicants should continue to use the current project registration form on EOL (or the paper Form 2). In the value and volunteering section, Environmental Bodies (EBs) now only need to answer the last three questions on this page, which will remain part of the new registration form:

  • Number of volunteers expected to help in the delivery of this LCF project;
  • Number of youth volunteers working on this project; and
  • Number of youth volunteering days created by this project.

EBs will be asked a range of further questions at project completion stage.
