Zero Tolerance to Bribery and Corruption

3 Jul 2011

As a highly professional independent regulatory body, ENTRUST is committed to ensuring that it delivers its operations in an open, transparent and honest way.

To achieve this objective, ENTRUST expects its employees and all persons who act on its behalf to demonstrate honesty, integrity and fairness in all aspects of their business dealings and exercise appropriate standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in all of their dealings with the Company and our stakeholders. We also expect that our stakeholders will adopt these same standards in working with ENTRUST.

ENTRUST will therefore not tolerate any acts of bribery, or corruption in any form and has a ‘zero tolerance’ approach to any of these activities. In line with the requirements of the Bribery Act 2010, ENTRUST, our employees or persons acting on our behalf will never seek, accept, offer a bribe, gift, or other improper payment as a reward for improper performance of a relevant function, or activity.

If anyone is in any doubt as to whether something is or, is not appropriate they should ask themselves how their actions would be viewed if their actions were subject to independent scrutiny and review. If anyone is any doubt about any issues, which relate to the Bribery Act 2010, they should contact ENTRUST’s Head of Finance on (01926) 488316, or if they are concerned by the actions of any others related to this matter, they can if they prefer refer this matter to us, using our confidential Whistle blowing helpline on (01926) 488 362.
