Projects Seeking Funding

We occasionally get calls from groups looking to find funding for their project. We advise these groups to contact their local Landfill Operator (LO) or to look at our funders directory to find Environmental Bodies (EBs) who may be willing to fund their project.

These projects are also listed here for Funders and LOs who have uncommitted funds and would like to find a project suitable for the monies.

We will only add projects to our website that, on the basis of the information provided, meet the requirements of the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996 and the relevant Object.

By posting these projects to our website we are not guaranteeing the projects will receive funding, nor are we guaranteeing the projects will be approved once funding is agreed. When funding is secured for one of these projects it will need to be registered with us and we will complete the same due diligence as we do on all projects.

Long Buckby Cricket Club are in desperate need of replacing their artificial match wicket and artificial training net wickets and cages. All of which, through wear and tear over a number of years, have become threadbare and uneven which is both ill effective to the cricket and is now becoming dnagerous.

We're looking to extend our training nets from half nets to full length nets to allow our youth teams and women's team to bowl from their correct distances. This would improve our facilities immensely which will benefit each of our three senior teams, three youth teams and our women's team and for the rest of the players/teams that use our facilities such as the Northamptonshire County Youth Teams which is something we would like to continue to facilitate.
