Project Detail

The Cross Park Association was set up in 2008 to improve the facilities in Cross Park, a four hectare green space in Allhallows, Medway. The site is owned by Allhallows Parish Council and currently consists of two sports piches, a disused community building, paths and bridleways and large areas which are unmanaged but important to local wildlife. To date we have refurbished two toilets which are user friendly for the disabled, an office and a kitchen area. All doors are extra wide for wheelchair users with a ramp at the main entrance allowing easy access for wheelchairs. This is an on going project, and with the completion of the Community building we will be moving on to raise funds for a children's play area in the park.
