Dunkirk Mills Pond Restoration Project

The purpose of this project is the restoration of three historic millponds adjacent to Dunkirk Mills in the Nailsworth Valley. The ponds are designed to maximise biodiversity, including several key biodiversity action species in the county. Access is to be provided to previously inaccessible areas and interpretation of the historic landscape and wildlife. The element of the project funded by ICET is interpretation and access improvements.
