LCF Forum 2013

27 Aug 2013

The next Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) Forum is fast approaching and this year it will be held on Wednesday 2nd October 2013.

THe Forum will run from 13:00pm-15:30pm at Trinity Bridge House 2 Dearmans Place, Salford, Manchester, M3 5BS.

The forum gives you the opportunity to get together and promote discussions on a wide variety of LCF topics. This year HMRC plans to manage the event, joined by a representative from HM Treasury and the Regulator ENTRUST.

The purpose of the forum is to encourage stakeholders to work together by promoting open and constructive dialogue in order to contribute to the work of government and regulators and by generating practical ideas for further enhancing confidence in the LCF.

As an event held for Environmental Bodies we are requesting contributions to agenda items to be presented by you to the forum. In particular around how your organisation is working to meet the Government challenge, sharing good practices, the successes or lessons learnt over this last year; or the wind-up of funds in Scotland.

The agenda will also include a brief summary of any current issues from HMRC/HMT and ENTRUST and a Q & A session.

Contributions for agenda items should be sent to Helen Horton by Monday 16th September with the following details:

  • Name and EB/organisation.
  • Presentation subject – (PowerPoint facilities available)
  • Estimated of time required.

(PowerPoint presentation must be emailed to Helen prior to the meeting.)

Copy of the final agenda will be circulated to all attendees a week prior to the meeting.

If you would like to attend the LCF Forum please email Helen Horton by Monday 16th September 2013 at Helen.horton@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk.

(Please note Trinity Bridge House is not part of HMRC's estate and therefore confirmation of all attendees is required in advance).
