Anti-Predator Fence (Extension)

The wet grassland area at RSPB Saltholme is an important breeding area for waders, such as lapwing and redshank. Nesting birds are vulnerable to predation from foxes and the overall aim of this project is to increase the area of nesting sites protected from foxes by the installation of an anti-predator fence. This will increase the area of protected wet grassland from 25 hectares to 86 hectares.
