Ashtead Park Restoration Project

The project aims to restore Ashtead Park Local Nature Reserve (LNR). The park has been largely unmanaged for many years and is underused by the local community. The footpaths are overgrown, muddy and uneven making them uninviting and causing access issues for many visitors. The project will restore a derelict pond to create a wildlife pond dipping platforms, benches and interpretation for local schools and community groups to use. Two paths will be created to improve access and create a circular walk around the park.
