Balaji Temple Nature Area Improvement

This project will provide permitted access the former landfill site to the public, school groups an
d volunteers to a nature area and riverside trail. Will become a valuable link in the wider green infrastructure network, which includes the River Tame, the canal and Sheepwash Country Park. The local community will be able to enjoy improved access to a natural site that is currently difficult to access. Students and pupils will be able to visit the site for educational purposes. Volunteers (including devotees and others) will be able to participate in tree planting and habitat management.
