Braunstone Park Street Sports Project

This project aims to redevelop an old Paddling Pool that currently exists on the park, by turning it into a ‘Street Sports’ area for skateboarding and other similar activities. Alongside will be new dynamic play equipment designed for older children and teenagers, whilst the brook that once fed the pool will be broken out of its existing concrete channel and naturalised, including a new wetland feature being created. There will be new paths, bins and benches constructed around these features and timber jetties will be built next to the water’s edge.
