Burntisland War Memorial

We wish to conserve and restore the War Memorial in Burntisland. We wish also to landscape a small area of adjacent ground, which is currently covered in rough tarmac, in order to place memorial in an appropriate setting.

The Planning and Listed Building consents from Fife Council say that “The repairs and alterations will not only enhance the listed memorial but will also improve the surrounding area within the Burntisland Conservation Area”.

Fife Council have confirmed that they will retain responsibility for maintenance of the newly-landscaped area.
