Burton Street Foundation, Sheffield – Hydrotherapy Suite (006304)

The transformation of what was a disused industrial unit within Burton Street Foundation premises into a fully accessible space available for all to use. This project will see additional provision for people with profound and complex learning disabilities enabling them to have access to the community building where a range of community activities take place. The building is open to the general public who regularly access the range of community rooms. This project will create additional community space including a hydrotherapy suite, centred around a 4 meter spa pool, complete with fully accessible toilet and changing facility. Both pool and changing facilities are to be served by an overhead tracking hoist.
