Camden People’s Theatre – Access Transformation phase 1

CPT want to better serve the local community. Availability of the rehearsal space for community activities will be increased, access improved, a new community cafe opens the building in the day & greening unused space to reduce anti-social behavior and create a landmark that the area is proud of.
A contribution towards works to improve the building’s access inc. toilets, automatic doors, lift improvements – reduce the environmental impact; draught lobby, heating systems – reconfigure the ground floor to enable the opening of a community cafe.

As the gateway to Drummond Street, CPT is a valued community asset in desperate need of repair. The works will help better support the community, creating a vibrant community hub and a beacon to attract more people to one of the most deprived wards in the city, severely under threat from HS2.
