Cathkin Marsh Improvements

The project activities (improvements to Cathkin Marsh Wildlife Reserve) represent a portion of work from a previous project, registered as 038. This application for a separate registration is in response to a recommendation from a compliance report. - Upgrade of path - General habitat management - Removal of derelict hut for health and safety reasons - Implementation of a conservation grazing scheme (ie purchase of 3 highland cattle to graze the marsh during the summer; feed, vet bills) - Site events ( 5 pond dipping events; 1 willow sculpture event) - Water level monitoring
