Chettisham Meadow Forever1070

This project will protect and safeguard Chettisham Meadow, near Ely, for the future of local wildlife and people. East Anglia is one of the country’s most important regions for remaining examples of ancient meadowland, making it vital that we work to protect this precious feature of our local heritage. Chettisham Meadow is particularly important in this context, and as such has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). It is an extremely important site for wildlife, and is one of the very few public-access sites in Cambridgeshire for the locally-rare green-winged orchid.
