Cramlington Blue Star Junior Football Club

The Club was set up to provide football for the young people of Cramlington and the surrounding areas for both genders aged between 7 and 19 years. The club also aims to create an environment where the young people can learn and socialise safely.
The need for the project they are applying for was identified in 1997 through a consultaction event around planning for real exercise. This consultation identified the need to retain a sport community facility.
The application is for funding to enable the club to create an environment which is aesthetically pleasing for members and visitors to the club. This will be achieved with the provision of trees, shrubs, pathways and a centre art piece on the grounds surrounding the main playing field, as well as fencing around the playing field to ensure safety.
