Creation of Dining/Private Hire Area, Pelsall Community Association, Walsall

This is a project to replace the flooring within part of the premises at Pelsall Community Centre and also upgrade the room dividers in the public space. In recent times the centre has upgraded its kitchen to a commercial standard. This has increased the demand for hot food and resulted in the dining area being increased. There is now a need to replace the existing flooring in the dining area with a more appropriate material that can be machine mopped and sterilized. The flooring also needs to be extended into an area that is adjacent and can be separated with folding doors which are currently very old, wooden structures. By replacing these doors with modern, bespoke fittings the association will be able to create a private space with good thermal and acoustic separation. The project is intended to replace both the flooring and room separators with modern, efficient and hygienic materials.
