Deptford Creek – Biodiversity Enhancement Project

To undertake habitat enhancement and conservation works on 777m of frontages at Deptford Creek in Lewisham, and within the connected pond/marsh habitat located in nearby naturally colonised urban wasteland. The project is designed to support a unique integrated Tidal Thames biodiversity network, particularly by creating suitable substrates on 784m of timber horizontals to be installed on the Creek frontages on which silt can collect and permeate, so enabling plants and animals to colonise.
