East Huntspill Cricket Club – Wicket Covers

Funding is to purchase some brand new Wicket Covers. These will cover the playing area of the wicket prior to games being played to keep it dry when rain is forecast.
They lose, on average, 3 games a year due to weather/waterlogged pitches/wickets. There have been instances where game day weather has been fantastic, but due to bad weather on days leading to this means the pitch has been unplayable. Having Wicket Covers will avoid this happening in the future.
