Clayton Brook Community Church (CBCC) is 36 years old. The building itself offers users a main hall, coffee lounge, two ground floor rooms and upstairs rooms. The building is currently used by seven weekly groups including 2 dance groups, teenage and junior youth groups and parent and toddlers. A drop in café operates 40 weeks of the year and the building is also used for four ad hoc community events. The current windows are not double glazed, the false ceiling has minimal insulation, the lighting is past its best years, the toilets use a large amount of water when flushed and the existing central heating system needs replacing and extending to cover rooms that are not currently heated on the first floor.
