Fire Station Creative

The project aims to renovate a former Fire Station in the Centre of Dunfermline and form a creative hub providing gallery, classroom, artists’ studios and a café. The building is Category B listed and on Historic Scotland’s buildings at risk register.

The gallery and café will be located in the former engine hall, the classroom on the first floor in the former refectory and the studios in the former accommodation suites. There is minimal alteration to the original building required thereby retaining the integrity of the design.

Fire Station Creative is a charity and will be run as a social enterprise. All and any profits will be reinvested in the building and its projects.
