Furzedown Recreation Ground Landscape Improvement

Funding was requested for a community orchard; offering seasonal interest and activities for local people and a wildlife garden offering an attractive area for people and wildlife, with educational opportunities and benefit to the biodiversity of the area. Additional funding was sought to remove restricting fences and put in attractive paving linking these two areas. The community have assisted with the construction of these landscape areas.
