Groundwork South and North Tyneside

This project will rebuild a “hobbit house” which was recently subject to arson attack, and fund the purchase and construction of a yurt to be used as an outdoor classroom. Location is at West Boldon Lodge, an environmental education centre. The centre is situated at the edge of Boldon Colliery, an area of high deprivation within South Tyneside.
