Herb and Sensory Garden

Herb and Sensory garden located to rear of school beside back entrance and convenient car park but is also accessible from the front of the school. The school is a community school and various societies/ dance/ music clubs etc will all have access to it. Local gardening experts have volunteered to help out. All pupil involvement will be on a voluntary basis also as this is a project involving the wider community cooperating to grow things and appreciate the environment together. It should also provide an area to sit, relax and socialise and provide fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables. Local gardeners will be involved in the project from the start planting a variety of plants. Scented plants wil be planted to provide various smells etc to provide an area of calm in a quiet area. Full unrestricted public access to the Herb and Sensory Garden Mon-Fri 0800 hrs-1800 hrs.
