Market Street Sport Facility

Following user consultation and extensive consultant involvement and advice, the priority for the facility is the replacement of the existing long/triple jump & pole vault area which is at the end of its working life and no longer meets UK Athletics safety standards. The long/triple jump facility would be re-laid to facilitate the construction of an enlarged pole vault safe landing area and to create a double width long/triple jump landing area with three runways inclusive for disabled use.

As presented in the above question the project will make improvements to long jump & pole vault areas.
