Mersea Island Museum Trust

The project aims to build and equip an extension to the side of the existing Museum and upgrade the existing lighting and insulation in the Museum. The extension will provide much more storage space for archive material and for the display of material currently stored on computer database. It will also provide an area to continue to develop and digitise other community records so that visitors can access them. The community will have a small meeting area with sound and projection facilities.
