Creating a showcase for nature conservation and biodiversity in an urban setting. A resource for rest and recreation for the community as well as educational resource for local schools. Aims are restoration and improvement of the natural habitats (a)Woodlands management: Removal of some large self set sycamore trees and sapling. Ground ivy clearance. Creating nature trail edged with recycled logs surfaced with woodchips. Planting new trees and woodland flora.(B)Creating diverse and colourful wildflower meadow to benefit bees and polinators (C)Pond areas: Clearing brambles for safer access. Creating surfaced platform 10sq m.and interpretation board. Providing more seating from recycled wood.
