Redpath Village Hall

Redpath Village Hall was built in 1837 as a village school. The statutory C listed building needs essential repairs to enable its continuation as a social centre for the village and immediate surrounds. Chartered Surveyors have been employed and recommend renewal of harling which is breaking away from the dressed stone groins, window surrounds and masonry wall, repairs to or replacing of 3 of 6 windows, exterior redecoration and reseating moulded sandstone copes. Special council and contractor advice suggests replacing windows and sash boxes to original desin (only 1 original window remains)
