Skatepark for Redruth

Work on delivering an accessible skatepark facility started in 2011 with consultation to inform site selection & design criteria. Over 500 under 18, Redruth residents responded. The park is wanted by scooters, skaters & BMX’s. A user group was formed (Redruth Skatepark Association) & work has progressed with a contractor appointed, planning permission secured & funding raised. COVID has brought challenges, so the decision has been taken to reduce the size of the facility to get it built in 2021

Any funds awarded by Suez Communities Trust would be spent on building the long awaited skatepark facility in East End Playing Fields in Redruth.
