St Johns Church, Walton, Warrington – Disabled Access Ramp

The construction of a concrete and masonry “hairpin” shaped ramped-access immediately adjacent to the church’s main porch entrance in order to provide continuous unaided access for the disabled and those with mobility issues. The ramp will rise four steps high and will include handrail protection.The ramp will provide continuous unaided access for the disabled, including those on mobility scooters. Safe access can then be maintained for all services, community concerts and for those attending war graves and a porch style chapel (with prayer garden) intended to be open during daylight hours.
