Straight Road Community Centre – toilet refurbishment

The Straight Road Community Centre project was set up by local residents in 2003. Since then the building has been operated as a not for profit venue for community activity.
The committee wishes to refurbish both toilet areas. The ladies’ facilities will be remodelled to include a children’s toilet as many children use the Centre each week. The two adult cubicles will be moved to accommodate the new child’s toilet. New sanitary ware will be installed throughout.
The gents’ facilities will be refitted and remodelled to make room for a separate toilet for people with disabilities and baby change facilities. All work will comply with current regulations regarding the asbestos removal.
