Swan Drawdock Riparian Nature Reserve Functionality Restoration

A restoration of the appearance, functionality and play diversity of the Swan Drawdock Riparian Nature Reserve. The work to be carried out involves, the clearance of a badly sited dangerous willow, removal of an over-large reed bed and replanting of the area with native marginal and aquatic plants, removal of large items of litter from the silt and floating items of rubbish from behind a failed anti-rubbish boom, silt analysis and removal, temporary plugging of leaks from the dock and obtaining a permanent solution from civil engineering consultants
