The Churches Conservation Trust – St Leonards Church, Hythe Hill

The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) has spent approximately £500,000 restoring the church, but more work is required to turn it into a place that can be used for ongoing public activities. CCT is requesting support to install a toilet in the building so that members of the public may use the space for cultural events, educational activities, and community gatherings.
Community space in the area is noted to be in short supply, with the character and identity of the area requiring restoration as the built environment is developed. The provision of basic facilities in the building, such as toilets and heat, is essential to turning it into space that can be regained and animated by the public. The addition of a wheelchair accessible toilet will make it possible for this building to be used in the 21st century.
