The Hub@CafeWest

The project seeks to renovate the Cafe area to bring it up to date with the needs of the community. It involves a full refurbishment of the outdated cafe area to make it more aesthetically pleasing, greener in terms of energy consumption and allow preparation of a wider range of meals to meet the needs of our diverse community.
A bespoke counter will be fitted in front of the existing serving hatch which will serve as the new front of The Hub@CafeWest. The main cafe area currently houses the popular community library. By making alterations to our reception area, part of the library can be relocated to provide more room for the cafe and encourage library users to make more uses of the cafe when they visit. We also have a number of computers that we will creat new desks that will be around the perimeter of the cafe area and permanently fixed to wall space which will provide more stations.
