The Merchant’s House Interpretation Panels Project

The Merchant’s House is a 15th century timber framed building restored to show the construction of a merchant’s shop and house in the late Medieval / early Tudor period, and is open to the public. The project involves the design, purchase and installation of six interpretation panels in the building. With the new panels we would like to explore in more detail how the building was constructed and used as a shop and home. In this way would hope to encourage more visitors and thus more donations that can be used to maintain the building as a place of historical and architectural interest.
