The Mersea Island Community Assocation – new stage

A new stage is required at the Mersea Island Community Association to replace the current one which is over 30 years old, cumbersome and unsafe.

The MICA is the main meeting place for Am Dram Groups on Mersea Island. This includes both adult drama groups and children’s drama groups and workshops, all of whom use the stage for weekly sessions and annual productions.
There are also weekly fitness clubs and monthly dances to DJs or live bands, which rely heavily on the stage.
