The Tower of Learning

We have taken over the running of a famous city landmark, dating from 1472. All that remains is a tower which used to house the city’s curfew bell. Vacant for 9 years; we wish to turn it into an interactive/fun learning centre for disadvantaged groups and young people – bringing living history into their lives and teaching them about our city and the built environment and to respect it. We feel the project will be a good teaching tool. We shall have artists in residence; state of the art technology to put across our city’s history; making it a hands on learning centre; to establish audio trails to encourage self guided walks around the city and to encourage walking in general for a healthier life style. We also hope to attract corporate organisations so that people working in our city can find out about it.
