West Leigh Baptist Church Major Redevelopment, Phase 1, Heating System,Heating Installation

The overall scheme involves the £3 million redevelopment of the existing church site to provide premises that are much better suited for community use. Planning permission has been granted and phase 1 of the project, which involves the redevelopment of approx. 60% of the site and valued at £1.7 million, is ready to start. Included within phase 1 is the installation of a new gas fired heating system costing £138,000 and Cory Environmentall Trust in southend-on-Sea proposes to support this element of the overall scheme with a grant of £15,000 (10% approx).
