Western Riverside Recycling and Market Development

Through provision of technical & consultancy services, the project aims to help the 4 WRWA constituent borough reach their statutory recycling targets. The project will work with the boroughs to improve & make more efficiency current recycling systems, identify best practice recycling infrastructure & schemes in order to implement new innovative schemes, time and resources will also be focused on facilitating increased purchase and demand of recycled content products within businesses, boroughs and schools groups. Dissemination of green procurement information will be included. Technical assistance will also be provided to implement waste minimisation projects within boroughs and as part of borough waste strategies
