Project Detail

An approach was made by members of Powis Community Group to assist them in upgrading a well-used greenspace area in Powis which is one of the regeneration areas within Aberdeen. It has had a play area but this is now defunct and is used as a through route for pedestrians to the nearby main road. The project would involve removing redundant play equipment, installing seating, paths, fencing and planting native species plants, with the help of the local community. The project will assist the local community to deliver the project and give them the confidence carry on with further projects themselves.
