Project Detail

The Wymondham Scout Hall is used by 15 local Scout and Guide groups, 5 days per week. This community building is badly in need of refurbishment. The three aims of the project are: - To replace the heating system, to supply space heating and domestic hot water. The existing system is old and failing. - To replace the windows, with PVC double glazing. The existing old wooden window frames are rotting, and the single glazing produces a lot of heat loss. - To replace the lighting with safer and more efficient fittings, and provide emergency lighting for evacuation.
